WCAAN (Willing Citizens for Alternative Assigned Names, pronounced WE-CAN) is an alternate root that peers with ICANN, OPENNIC and our friends in the MicroNet.
Our goal is not to supplant ICANN internationally or to have a general purpose alternate root like OPENNIC, we aim to provide long-needed TLD recognition and DNS services to the micronational community.
